The 2024 Moc Chau District Regional Defense Exercise was assessed by the Steering Committee as excellent – ​​achieving the highest score among the 88 districts and cities of Military Region 2. During the two-day exercise,The Party Committee, local government, departments, and mass organizations of Moc Chau district have demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, actively researching and understanding the exercise plan, proactively implementing all preparatory work, and organizing training and exercises to ensure that all requirements are met. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - attended and directed the exercise.

The 2024 Moc Chau District Regional Defense Exercise is divided into three phases: Phase 1, transitioning the armed forces into combat readiness states; transitioning the locality into national defense states; Phase 2, organizing preparations for defensive combat; Phase 3, conducting defensive combat operations.

Throughout the exercise, the Steering Committee, its agencies, directors, and the training framework coordinated closely, ensuring the exercise was carried out as intended and met the set requirements. The participating forces executed the plan correctly, successfully completing their tasks, demonstrating initiative, independent thinking, and creativity within the training framework; the training and exercises were conducted in accordance with the local situation, adhering to principles and ensuring close coordination between forces, guaranteeing absolute safety for personnel, weapons, and equipment.

Colonel Chu Van Thanh -Commander of the Son La Provincial Military Command:The 2024 Moc Chau District Regional Defense Exercise was highly praised by the steering committee and has been successfully completed to date. The leadership and guidance from the local Party committee, along with the strategic planning of the military, police, and border guard forces, were excellent. In particular, all preparations and training were carried out meticulously, tailored to the specific conditions and operational areas of Moc Chau. This was a tactical exercise at the company level for defense within a combat zone, a challenging exercise requiring high levels of command and coordination to ensure safety and achieve the steering committee's objectives.

During the exercise, Moc Chau district demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, actively researching and understanding the exercise's objectives, proactively implementing all preparatory work, and organizing the training and exercise. The exercise clearly affirmed the leadership and management capabilities of the Party committees and authorities at all levels; the active and effective advisory role of the armed forces, the Fatherland Front, and the district's agencies and departments; and showcased the determination of the participating forces to overcome difficulties and leverage their internal strengths.

Mr. Tran Dan Khoi -Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council of Moc Chau District:This exercise yielded many practical and valuable results. Firstly, the awareness of cadres, Party members, armed forces, and the people throughout the district regarding national defense and security tasks was enhanced. Secondly, plans and combat readiness strategies for all situations, ensuring security and order, and protecting the defense zone were reviewed, consolidated, and strengthened to suit the local reality.

The 2024 Moc Chau District Regional Defense Exercise was successfully completed. Through the exercise, the leadership capacity of the Party Committee, the management capacity of the government, and the advisory role of the Fatherland Front, various departments, and mass organizations were enhanced in building a strong national defense and people's security system, and establishing a solid local defense zone in line with current requirements and tasks.

At the conclusion of the exercise, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals; the Moc Chau District Party Committee and People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 27 collectives and 92 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 2024 Moc Chau District defense zone exercise.
