The 2024 Moc Chau district defense area exercise was assessed by the Steering Committee as excellent - achieving the highest score among 88 districts and cities of Military Region 2. During the 2 days of the exercise,The Party Committee, local government, departments, branches and organizations of Moc Chau district have promoted a good sense of responsibility, actively studied, grasped the intention of the exercise, proactively deployed all preparations and organized practice and rehearsal to ensure the requirements were met. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the exercise.

The Moc Chau district defense area exercise in 2024 is divided into 3 phases: Phase 1, moving armed forces into combat readiness states; moving localities into defense states; Phase 2, organizing defense operations preparations; Phase 3, practicing defense operations.

During the practice, the Steering Committee, the Steering Committee agency, the director and the training framework closely coordinated to ensure that the exercise was carried out as intended and met the requirements. The forces carried out the plan correctly, completed the tasks excellently, promoted the initiative, independent and creative thinking of the training framework; organized training and exercises close to the actual local situation, ensuring the correct principles and close coordination between the forces, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.

Colonel Chu Van Thanh -Commander of Son La Provincial Military Command:The Moc Chau district defense area exercise in 2024 was highly appreciated by the steering committee and has successfully completed the exercise task to date. The leadership and direction of the local Party Committee and the staff of the Military, Police and Border Guard forces. In particular, all preparations and training were well done and organized in a strict manner suitable to each condition and combat area to protect Moc Chau. This is one of the forms of company-level defense tactics in the combat area, a difficult content. The command coordination must be high to ensure safety and comply with the direction of the steering committee.

During the exercise, Moc Chau district promoted a good sense of responsibility, actively researched, grasped the intention of the exercise, proactively deployed all preparations and organized practice and exercises. Through the exercise, it clearly affirmed the leadership and management capacity of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the active and effective advisory role of the armed forces, the Fatherland Front, agencies, departments and branches of the district; demonstrated the will to overcome difficulties and promote the internal strength of the forces participating in the exercise.

Mr. Tran Dan Khoi -Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Moc Chau district:Through this exercise, many practical results have been achieved. Firstly, the awareness of cadres, party members, armed forces and people in the whole district about national defense and security tasks has been raised. Secondly, plans and options for combat readiness in all situations to ensure security and order to protect the defense area have been reviewed and strengthened to suit the practical situation of the locality.

The Moc Chau district defense zone exercise in 2024 was a great success. Through the exercise, it contributed to improving the leadership capacity of the Party Committee, the administration, the advisory role of the Fatherland Front, departments, branches, and organizations in building a strong national defense and people's security, building a solid defense zone in the locality in line with the requirements and tasks in the current period.

At the end of the exercise, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals; Moc Chau District Party Committee and People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 27 collectives and 92 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Moc Chau district defense area exercise in 2024./.
