(vov.gov.vn) - Xoe - a folk cultural form of the Thai people in Vietnam has been recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. In order for the Thai Xoe art heritage to continue to be preserved and its value promoted in social life, all levels, sectors and localities in the Northwest region have been actively implementing many practical activities. In Son La province, recently, for the first time, Thai Xoe was included in a competition in the school system in the province. That was the contest "Learning about Thai Xoe" organized in the extracurricular program "To the heritage land" of Chu Van An Primary, Secondary and High School, under Tay Bac University in Son La city, Son La province.
