The workshop received many insightful contributions from scientists, theoretical researchers, managers, and educators from: the Journal of Political Theory, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; the Institute of Philosophy, the Ho Chi Minh and Party Leaders Institute, the Department of Science Management, the Office of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; the Regional Academy of Politics I; departments, agencies, and organizations; district and city Party committees; and political centers throughout the province.

The organizing committee conducted research and evaluation, dividing the content into two main sections: Some general issues concerning innovation, improving the quality and effectiveness of research, teaching, learning, and application of Marxism-Leninism;Ho Chi Minh's ideologyIn the new context; Current situation and solutions for innovation, improvement of quality and effectiveness of research, teaching, learning, and application of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in Son La province in the new context.

The papers covered a wide range of topics of interest to the conference, reflecting various perspectives and areas of work within the political system.

The discussions and articles affirm that Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought are the ideological foundation and guiding principles for the actions of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, and are a great spiritual asset of our Party and nation. Innovating and improving the quality and effectiveness of research, teaching, learning, and application of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in the current situation is a fundamental and crucial aspect of Party building, a vital task with decisive significance for the survival of the Party and the regime.

Overview of the conference.

The workshop aims to raise awareness among cadres, Party members, lecturers, students, and the public regarding the research, teaching, learning, and application of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; to strengthen the Party's ideological foundation; and to actively combat and refute erroneous views and distorted arguments of hostile forces. Simultaneously, it serves as a basis for consultation with central and provincial ministries and agencies to improve the system of normative documents; and to propose solutions to enhance the effectiveness of research, teaching, learning, and application of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in the new situation.

The seminar also served as an opportunity to disseminate, thoroughly understand, and further improve the research, teaching, learning, and application of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought within the political system in Son La province in particular and throughout the country in general.
