In a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, delegates and people of Cang Muong village together reviewed the history and traditions of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024); and the results of the patriotic emulation movements in Cang Muong village, Muong Chanh commune in 2024.

The Cang Muong village has over 120 households and 570 inhabitants. In recent years, the Party committee, the government, and the people of all ethnic groups in the village have always promoted the spirit of solidarity in building a new rural village, gradually improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

The delegation presented Mai Son district with 5 "Great Solidarity" houses.

To date, the average per capita income in the village has reached over 50 million VND/person/year; the number of wealthy households has increased by 10, and the number of well-off households by 35 compared to 2023; the village no longer has any poor households, no social vices, and rural security is ensured. In 2024, 120 out of 126 households in the village will achieve the title of "Culturally Advanced Family".

During the year, the villagers donated over 6,400 square meters of land and many assets on the land to expand inter-village and intra-village roads; contributed more than 250 man-days of labor to move fences and auxiliary structures; and contributed over 220 million VND to complete the road foundation.

Campaign launched to expand the inter-communal road from Muong Chanh commune, Mai Son district to Ban Lam commune, Thuan Chau district.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La province, congratulated Cang Muong village on its achievements and requested the Party Committee, the Management Board, and the Front Committee of the village to continue to propagate and mobilize the people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the village's customs and traditions; to continue to promote the strength of national unity, actively respond to campaigns and emulation movements, and contribute resources and efforts to support the elimination of temporary housing in the locality.

The National Unity Day created a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, strengthening solidarity among ethnic groups.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong suggested that Party committees, government agencies, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son La province in general, and the people of Cang Muong village in particular, continue to promote the spirit of solidarity among the people, strengthen the good bonds of brotherhood and neighborly relations, share, support, and help each other to build and replicate exemplary models and advanced examples of mutual assistance in sustainable poverty reduction.

People of various ethnic groups in Muong Chanh commune enjoy games together on National Unity Day.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong and other delegates attended the ceremony to launch the expansion of the inter-communal road from Muong Chanh commune, Mai Son district to Ban Lam commune, Thuan Chau district, Son La province (the section from Cang Muong - Ten Hia - Na Ca - Nam Bong villages to Ban Lam commune, Thuan Chau district), with a total length of 2.7km and a width increased from 5m to 10m.
