In a joyful and exciting atmosphere, delegates and people of Cang Muong village together reviewed the history and tradition of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024); the results of implementing patriotic emulation movements of Cang Muong village, Muong Chanh commune in 2024.

Cang Muong village has more than 120 households and 570 people. Over the years, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the village have always promoted the spirit of solidarity to build a new rural village, gradually improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

The delegation presented Mai Son district with 5 Great Solidarity houses.

Up to now, the average income per capita of the village has reached over 50 million VND/person/year; an increase of 10 rich households and 35 well-off households compared to 2023; the village has no more poor households, no social evils, and rural security is guaranteed. In 2024, the village has 120/126 households achieving the title of cultural family.

During the year, the villagers donated over 6,400 square meters of land and many assets on the land to expand the inter-village and intra-village roadbed; contributed over 250 working days to move fences and auxiliary works and contributed over 220 million VND to complete the roadbed.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La province congratulated the results achieved by Cang Muong village and requested the Party Cell, Management Board, and Front Work Committee of the village to continue to propagate and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the village's conventions and covenants; continue to promote the strength of great national unity, actively respond to campaigns and emulation movements, participate in contributing resources and efforts to support the elimination of temporary houses in the locality.

The Great Unity Day created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, strengthening solidarity among the brotherly peoples.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong requested that the Party committees, authorities, and Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son La province in general and the people of Cang Muong village in particular continue to promote the spirit of solidarity among the people, consolidate the brotherhood and good neighborly relations, share, support, and help each other to build and replicate typical and advanced models of helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty.

Ethnic people of Muong Chanh commune enjoy games on Great Solidarity Day

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong and delegates attended the launching ceremony of the expansion of the inter-commune road from Muong Chanh, Mai Son district to Ban Lam commune, Thuan Chau district, Son La (section from Cang Muong - Ten Hia - Na Ca - Nam Bong to Ban Lam commune, Thuan Chau district), the total length of the road is 2.7km, the width from 5m to 10m.
