National Unity Day celebration at Group 8, Quyet Thang Ward, Son La City.

In the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of the festival, delegates and residents of Group 8 reviewed the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024); and the results of implementing patriotic emulation movements and the "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" campaign of the residential group in 2024.

Group 8, Quyet Thang Ward, has 305 households and 1,253 residents, comprising five ethnic groups living together. The people in the group always uphold the tradition of solidarity, working together to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the community's customs and traditions. The group has established and maintained 10 self-governing neighborhood groups; launched the Intergenerational Self-Help Club model, the "House of Wisdom - Compassionate Library" model; and established a Community Learning Group and a Drug Prevention Group in the residential area...

In response to the "National Unity Campaign for Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas," the neighborhood has installed a security camera system, added public fire hydrants, and installed a Wi-Fi system at the neighborhood's cultural center. The urban landscape has been improved, creating bright, green, clean, and beautiful streets and alleys. The economy has developed rapidly, especially in the commercial and service sectors; the promotion of education and talent development has received attention; cultural, artistic, and sports activities have been vibrant; and a cultured lifestyle has been promoted. In 2024, 100% of households in the neighborhood achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Family"...

Comrade Tong Thi Phong, former member of the Politburo, former Standing Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, and former Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the event.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Tong Thi Phong expressed her hope that the Party Committee, the Management Board, and the Front Committee of the neighborhood would continue to propagate and mobilize cadres and people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the neighborhood's customs and traditions. She urged them to leverage the strength of national unity, actively participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, and practically achieve accomplishments to celebrate the Party Congress at all levels. She also encouraged them to continue maintaining the title of "Cultural Neighborhood"; sustain community learning models; promote activities to encourage learning and talent development, contributing to maintaining the title of "Global Learning City"; and unite to build a civilized urban area...
