Specifically, about 5 years ago, every coffee harvest season the provinceSon LaThe area faced the problem of water and air pollution caused by the coffee processing activities of many households and some cooperatives. At one point, tens of thousands of households in Son La City were unable to use drinking water due to pollution. However, the situation has now significantly improved. Coffee husk waste has been collected and processed into organic fertilizer, contributing to solving the problem of waste in agricultural production and bringing both economic and environmental benefits.
