This event is part of the 2024 Vietnam Regional Specialty Fair, held at the Vincom Mega Mall Royal City shopping center square (72A Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).

ConsciousSon LaThe event featured 36 booths, with participation from cooperatives and businesses operating in the agricultural processing sector from 12 districts and cities. The booths displayed, promoted, and introduced characteristic agricultural products of the province, including tea, custard apples, citrus fruits, coffee, dried fruits, vermicelli, etc.

Weekagricultural productsandsafe foodThe Son La Provincial Conference in Hanoi in 2024 was organized to concretize the contents of the Coordination Program No. 12-CTPH/HNDTW-TUSL dated July 1, 2022, between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Son La Provincial Party Committee, for the period 2022-2025; and Plan No. 02-KH/HNDTW-TUSL dated June 6, 2024, between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Son La Provincial Party Committee on implementing the contents of the Coordination Program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Son La Provincial Party Committee in 2024.
Furthermore, in order to effectively implement Plan No. 39/KH-UBND dated February 2, 2024, of the Son La Provincial People's Committee on investment, trade, and tourism promotion activities in 2024; and to promote, build, and develop the brand of safe agricultural products in Son La province, this aims to help consumers access high-quality, safe fruits and agricultural products, identify product origins, and create a purchasing habit for consumers.
The fair also aims to facilitate businesses and cooperatives in connecting with supermarkets, shopping malls, and agricultural processing and export businesses both domestically and internationally to sell safe agricultural products.
According to the Son La Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, agricultural products participating in the exhibition and presentation must meet quality, hygiene, and food safety standards (OCOP, VietGAP, GlobalGAP certifications, etc.).

This is considered one of Son La's important trade promotion events, providing an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives operating in the agricultural production and processing sector in Son La province to connect with domestic and export markets; to seek additional partners for agricultural product consumption, thereby creating breakthroughs in production organization, improving product quality, building brands, and increasing income for the people.
According to Nguyen Anh Duong, Director of the Hanoi City Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, the 2024 Vietnam Regional Specialty Fair is an opportunity for businesses to promote their specialties to consumers, connect with and participate in the supply chain and consumption in the capital city market. It is also an opportunity for distributors to find and select suppliers, and is an event eagerly awaited by consumers at the end of the year to visit, shop, and experience the regional culture of Vietnam.
Thanks to the efforts of Hanoi city, the coordination of provinces and cities, and the enthusiastic participation of businesses, the Vietnam Regional Specialty Fair is a nationwide festival of specialties gathered in the capital, and also an opportunity to introduce the traditional culture and unique tourism of each region to domestic and international tourists.
Within the framework of the fair, business networking activities between manufacturing companies and major distributors (AEON, Lotte, Central Retail, clean food store chains, e-commerce platforms Alibaba, Foodmap, etc.) were also continuously organized.

According to reported data, the total volume of fruit consumed from the beginning of the year to October 10, 2024 reached 331,928 tons (estimated at 88% of the total annual production), with an estimated value of VND 5,283,038 million.
