At the Conference, leaders of Sop Cop, Muong Et, Muong Son, and Phong Thoong districts reported on the socio-economic, defense, and security situation in 2024; assessed the implementation of the contents of the memorandum of understanding signed on October 25, 2023. Accordingly, the Party Committee, government, departments, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in the districts on both sides of the border area always promote the tradition of special solidarity and friendship, strengthen comprehensive cooperation in the fields of economy, society, defense and security, build and consolidate the political system. Sop Cop district and Muong Et, Muong Son, and Phong Thoong districts have agreed on the content of cooperation in the coming time. In particular, the districts continue to promote propaganda and education for people in border areas about the Agreement on the Regulations on Border Management and National Border Gate of Vietnam - Laos; Protocol on the Border Line and Border Markers of Vietnam - Laos; guidelines, policies of the Party, laws of the two States on border work, and the content of the minutes of the 2024 meeting.

At the same time, maintain the organization of district-level meetings with districts; commune-level meetings with hamlets; police, military, border guards and rotate meeting locations.
