At the conference, Son La Newspaper awarded prizes for the "Beauty of Son La" photo contest 2024 on the Son La Newspaper's Fanpage. Accordingly, the first prize in the final round went to the work "Song Ma - a border town" by author Nguyen Nam from Song Ma district; the second prize went to the work "Xim Vang - the rice harvest season" by author Nguyen Van Duy from Phu Yen district; and one third prize and four consolation prizes were awarded to the winning authors.

Through this competition, we aim to mobilize photographers and photography enthusiasts from within and outside the province to participate in creating works that promote, introduce, and spread beautiful images of Son La's nature, people, and culture to people both within and outside the province; and to spread love for Son La in the community.

At the same time, it creates a forum for exchanging and sharing experiences in creating beautiful photographs among photography enthusiasts inside and outside the province.

It is known that Son La Newspaper currently has about 200 collaborators both within and outside the province. Of these, nearly 60 collaborators from districts, agencies, and departments regularly cooperate with the editorial office. Each month, the editorial office provides guidance on propaganda content for collaborators; discusses content and presentation methods for their works; and explains how to submit their contributions. The collaborators' works are diverse in content and closely follow important events in the province and localities.

On this occasion, Son La Newspaper awarded 19 collaborators for their outstanding achievements in disseminating information through Son La Newspaper in 2024.
