The delegation included leaders from the National Assembly's Economic Committee, the Economic Department (National Assembly Office), and leaders from the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (Agribank).

Attending and receiving the delegation from Son La province were: Mr. Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vi Duc Tho, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and leaders of several departments and agencies of the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Lo Minh Hung expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation to visit and work in Son La province. He also provided information on some outstanding achievements in Party building, socio-economic development, national defense and security, key tasks of the province, and the work of eliminating temporary housing in the area. In the past period, Son La province has mobilized 600 billion VND, of which 60% came from social contributions, to eliminate over 8,000 temporary and dilapidated houses. Currently, the province still has over 2,600 households facing housing difficulties that need to be eliminated, with a total estimated cost of approximately 150 billion VND. To strive for the early completion of the temporary housing elimination program, Son La province urgently needs the joint support of all levels and sectors.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his hope that the National Assembly's Economic Committee would continue to pay attention to and provide assistance to the province in all areas, especially in the implementation of Resolution No. 1280/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on... The reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units in Son La province for the period 2023-2025; and the preparation for Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Expressing his delight at the achievements of Son La province in recent times, Mr. Vu Hong Thanh, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, emphasized: The National Assembly pays special attention to the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for disadvantaged households, and has promptly allocated funds for localities to implement the program. The National Assembly's Economic Committee has also coordinated with units and social enterprises to mobilize funds to support the implementation of the temporary house elimination program in localities, including Son La province. He hoped that the province would continue to effectively allocate and arrange funds for the elimination of temporary houses in the area, improve the lives of the people, and realize the goal of building Son La province into a green, rapidly, and sustainably developing province.
