The Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee requested that agencies, units, and localities study and thoroughly understand the content of the book by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, linking it with the implementation of directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central Committee on cultural work.
This morning (December 11th), the Son La Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to study, understand, and disseminate the content of the book "Building and Developing an Advanced Vietnamese Culture Rich in National Identity" by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and some new documents from the Central Committee.
The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, connecting districts, cities, and communes, wards, and towns throughout the province.
The Deputy Director and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House introduces the basic content of the book.
Speaking at the conference, Son La Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh emphasized that, inheriting and promoting the traditional cultural values of the nation, and selectively absorbing the finest aspects of human culture, the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, in the process of leading the revolution, have always attached great importance to and identified cultural development as one of the three important fronts of our country's revolution, alongside the political and economic fronts.
The content of this book will help sectors, levels, localities, officials, Party members, and the people clearly define the viewpoints, goals, orientations, and tasks of cultural development, so that culture truly becomes the spiritual foundation, driving force, and endogenous resource for national development.
Along with the content of the late General Secretary's book, the conference also disseminated, publicized, and implemented the tasks of carrying out three new Central Committee documents, including: Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024, of the Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period; Regulation No. 189-QĐ/TW dated October 8, 2024, of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negative practices in the management and use of public finance and assets; and Directive No. 42/CT-TTg dated November 9, 2024, of the Prime Minister on promoting the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.
