Phu Yen District preserves and promotes the culture of ethnic minority groups.

Taking place over two days (December 21-22, 2024), the cultural space was vividly recreated, showcasing the cultural identity of the Muong, Thai, Mong, Dao, and other ethnic groups.

Through performances by amateur artists from 27 communes and towns in the area, the most impressive were the bell dance of the Dao Tien people in Tan Lang commune; the bamboo pole dance of the Thai ethnic people in Quang Huy commune; and the drumming of the Muong ethnic people in Huy Bac commune.

The cultural spaces of the communes and towns attract a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience. This year's cultural space for the fair is organized in the Muong Tac field, combining the arrangement of a pathway lined with thousands of brightly colored windmills, creating an interesting check-in point for visitors.

Tourists are impressed by the cultural characteristics of the ethnic groups in Phu Yen district.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, a tourist from Son La city (Son La province), shared: "When I learned that Phu Yen district would be holding a fair to promote the consumption of products and tourism, as well as the culture of ethnic minorities and mountainous regions, my family of four and I came here today to experience it. We were truly impressed by the cultural spaces of the ethnic groups in Phu Yen district. From the dances to the folk songs of each ethnic group, there are unique characteristics to each one."

These activities aim to preserve and promote the cultural identity of ethnic minorities and mountainous regions; and to create opportunities for tourist destinations and cooperatives in the district to introduce tourism products and the cultural identity of ethnic groups to domestic and international tourists.

Attracting investment in various fields; preserving and promoting the national cultural identity to create attractive tourism products, attracting domestic and international tourists to Phu Yen. At the same time, effectively implementing the rural tourism development program in the district.
