On December 23rd and 24th, the "Warm Winter for Children 5" program was organized by the Son La Provincial Police and benefactors from the Moc Chau Child Care ecosystem at Na Hien Primary School, Phieng Pan commune, Mai Son district - a particularly disadvantaged commune in Son La province.
Accordingly, the Son La Provincial Police and benefactors organized the donation of 150 gift packages including warm clothes, sweets, books, and toys to students, and also organized meals for 150 students at the school. The total value of the program was nearly 45 million VND.
In addition, benefactors, in coordination with the Son La Provincial Police, also distributed 11,290 warm jackets worth nearly 1.2 billion VND to children in the Moc Chau Child Care ecosystem in 8 disadvantaged districts of the province (Moc Chau, Van Ho, Bac Yen, Phu Yen, Thuan Chau, Muong La, Song Ma).
In Mai Son district alone, the program donated 2,474 warm jackets worth 242 million VND.
According to a representative from the Son La Provincial Police, this is an annual program that has already distributed over 37,000 warm jackets to underprivileged children.
