On December 24th, the Son La Provincial Farmers' Association organized a training conference on planting and caring for mango trees for farmer members in Muong Bu commune, Muong La district (Son La province).
At the training conference, farmers in Muong Bu commune were guided by speakers on techniques for planting and caring for mango trees, such as: selecting suitable soil and temperature zones, choosing varieties and designing orchards; fertilization and fertilization techniques; watering and sanitation; and pruning and shaping mango trees.

At the same time, we will share methods for controlling pests such as thrips, fruit flies, aphids, stem borers, etc., as well as major diseases affecting mango trees; provide guidance on care and flowering procedures; and explain how to preserve the product after harvest.
In addition, farmer members can exchange ideas and get answers to questions they encounter while caring for mango trees, thereby finding appropriate care solutions, reducing investment costs, increasing crop yield, and boosting farmers' income.

Through this training session, farmer members were equipped with the knowledge to apply new science and technology to the production, care, and pest and disease control processes in their family's mango orchards, aiming to increase productivity, improve the quality and value of mangoes, and contribute to increased income and family economic development.
