WinCommerce is currently the largest modern retail platform in Vietnam with more than 3,500 supermarkets and WinMart/WinMart+/WIN stores in 62 provinces and cities. With the leading scale of points of sale in the domestic market, as well as efforts to diversify retail models for each separate region, WinCommerce aims to strongly promote the consumption of goods in general and Son La brand coffee in particular, contributing to increasing the economic value of this industry as well as bringing Son La specialties more widely to consumers nationwide.

This is the first year that Son La province organizes the Son La Coffee Festival with the goal of honoring coffee production, processing and trading activities, while promoting the image and typical coffee culture of Son La province.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee shared about the cooperative relationship with WinCommerce: "Son La Province highly appreciates the cooperative relationship with WinCommerce to supply the province's specialty agricultural products in general, and Coffee in particular, to the retail chain. I believe that, with the experience, expertise, and strong supermarket and store system of WinCommerce, the two sides will cooperate extensively to bring pure Vietnamese, quality products closer to consumers; thereby enhancing the economic value of local agricultural products as well as contributing to the prosperity of Son La Province".

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, WinCommerce will develop a survey, evaluation plan and coordinate with Son La Coffee Processing Joint Stock Company to complete the goods supply documents according to WinMart and WinMart+ standards; share experiences in developing quality and sustainable sources of goods, thereby contributing to the common goal of developing the value chain of Son La coffee products and brands.

Besides Son La, we are also cooperating with many localities across the country to sustainably develop the source of goods into the WinMart and WinMart+ systems, thereby contributing to ensuring livelihoods for local people".

Son La Coffee Processing Joint Stock Company was established in May 2023 with the goal of bringing the "Son La Coffee" brand to the world market, and was approved by Son La province to build a Coffee Processing Factory in July 2023. Currently, the Company owns 2 production lines: wet grinding technology using water saving, circulation and dry grinding technology, closed, dust filtering, with a total capacity of 50,000 tons of fresh coffee beans per year (equivalent to 12,500 tons of coffee beans/year).

WinCommcerce's cooperation with the Company in particular, and participation in the series of events of the Coffee Festival of Son La province in general, is one of many activities in the strategy of promoting the consumption of agricultural products and domestic goods from many localities nationwide of WinCommerce, thereby contributing to building a sustainable supply of goods, bringing quality products, "good prices" to consumers.
