In 2024, the Steering Committeerural power supply provincepromptly issued documents to implement the rural electrification plan in Son La province, in which the People's Committees of districts were assigned to advise on integrating project programs and investment capital sources to supply electricity to households, especially integrating capital sources of national target programs to implement the rural electrification target. In 2024, the whole province supplied electricity to 10,775 households, including: new investment, development of new meters for 6,603 households, upgrading safe electricity investment for 4,172 households. The rate of households using electricity for daily life reached over 99.5%, of which: The rate of households using safe electricity for daily life reached 96.9%. With a total capital of over 190 billion VND. Of which: The rural electrification sub-project from the national grid of Son La province is over 79 billion VND; The project invested by districts is over 105 billion VND; Electricity industry invests 6.5 billion VND in developing new meters.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong requested members of the steering committee and districts and cities to focus on integrating capital sources to implement the program of investing in safe electricity supply for households; closely coordinate in site clearance, mobilize people's contributions; promote the implementation of the Rural Electricity Supply Program in 2025, focus on new investment for 5,658 households, upgrade safe electricity investment for 4,697 households. Strive for the rate of households using electricity to reach 99.5%, of which: The rate of households using safe electricity for daily life reaches over 99%; invest in electricity supply for 10,355 households, strive to ensure the target set by the Provincial Party Congress./.
