Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh enjoys Son La coffee.

Son La province is the locality with the largest Arabica coffee growing area in the country, with over 20,000 hectares, of which more than 18,000 hectares are certified for sustainability and equivalent; a number of specialized concentrated production areas have been formed, following the production, processing and consumption chain based on the application of science and technology, gradually meeting the needs of production, consumption and export. Son La coffee products have been exported to 20 countries in the EU, North America, the Middle East and ASEAN countries with stable consumption prices; contributing to increasing the income of coffee growers, creating more jobs, contributing to restructuring production towards increasing the value of coffee in Son La, highly appreciated by domestic and foreign consumers.

Recently, from October 20 to October 23, Son La province solemnly organized the first Son La Coffee Festival in 2023 with many meaningful activities. The province was honored to welcome Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue - Member of the Politburo, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, along with members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of Central Committees, Ministries and branches to attend, direct, encourage and highly appreciate the activities of the Festival.

Following the success of the first Son La Coffee Festival in 2023, the leaders, officials and people in the province, with the desire to bring the flavor of Son La Arabica Coffee far and wide, registered and were facilitated by the National Assembly Office, agreeing to allow the province to serve Coffee and display and introduce Son La Arabica Coffee products at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

The province has prepared typical, high-quality, beautifully designed coffee products to serve and introduce. At the same time, representatives of coffee production and processing enterprises and cooperatives in Son La province have been selected to participate, including: Ara-Tay Coffee Cooperative, Minh Tien Coffee Group Joint Stock Company and Son La Coffee Company Limited.
