Today (January 16), VTC News e-newspaper, VOV Tay Bac, and philanthropists inaugurated a boarding kitchen at Sao Mai kindergarten, Tu Nang commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province.
The Sao Mai kindergarten's semi-boarding kitchen project has an area of nearly 60 square meters, ensuring a one-way kitchen process according to kindergarten regulations, with a total cost of 200 million VND.
The project was inaugurated and put into use in time for the Lunar New Year 2025.
After nearly 2 months of construction, the kitchen was completed and equipped with necessary utensils to serve the school's students and teachers.

According to teacher Lo Thi Thuy, Principal of Sao Mai Kindergarten, this school year the school has nearly 550 students, most of whom are ethnic minority children with difficult circumstances.

The boarding kitchen was inaugurated and put into use on the occasion of Lunar New Year, contributing to giving teachers and students of the school more motivation to compete and complete their tasks well during the school year.

Teachers and students are very assured, especially for the staff who cook directly, they do not have to worry about rainy or leaky days, standing outside to cook. Now there is a one-way kitchen that processes according to the correct process, from the stage of processing fresh food to the stage of processing cooked food, ensuring safety for the children, so they can enjoy delicious meals, ensuring hygiene and safety," said teacher Lo Thi Thuy.
