During the meeting, in a warm atmosphere full of solidarity and friendship, Comrade Khon Thong Ma Ni Von - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Hua Phan province - warmly welcomed and extended his warmest regards and best wishes to Comrade Nguyen Thi Trang Nhung - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Son La province, and the members of the delegation. He also emphasized that this is an important event, marking a new step forward in the relationship between the Departments of Planning and Investment of the two provinces, and an opportunity to further affirm and deepen the special friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the Party Committees, governments, and people of Son La and Hua Phan provinces in general, and the two Departments in particular.

The Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Hua Phan province enthusiastically informed the delegation about the socio-economic development situation and some outstanding achievements in 2023, as well as the strategic direction for 2024 of Hua Phan province. He provided information on the potential, strengths, preferential policies, and investment attraction of the province, and shared some experiences in leadership, direction, and management of the fields under his responsibility. He was pleased to announce the results of cooperation and support between Son La province and Hua Phan province. He expressed hope and desire that through this meeting, the Departments of Planning and Investment of Son La and Hua Phan provinces will continue to set appropriate goals and solutions to develop potential and strengths, promote friendly cooperation between the two sides, cultivate close solidarity, and build a strong political system in both provinces.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang Nhung, Head of the delegation, congratulated Hua Phan province on the very important results achieved in 2023, in which the Department of Planning and Investment of Hua Phan province made a significant contribution. She informed the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment of Hua Phan province about some outstanding results in the socio-economic development of Son La province in 2023, the province's management and orientation, and the advisory work of the Department of Planning and Investment of Son La province on planning and investment. She also shared some experiences in encouraging and attracting investment; public investment work, etc. She hoped that in the future, the relationship between the Department of Planning and Investment of Son La province and the Department of Planning and Investment of Hua Phan province in particular, and the two provinces of Son La and Hua Phan in general, would continue to develop, strengthening cooperation in many fields, contributing to a more solid and lasting solidarity.
