At the Moc Chau District Police Station, the district police leadership presented a summary report on the security situation and operational results for 2024. According to the report, the political security situation in the area remained basically stable in 2024, with many targets and indicators related to ensuring security and order being met or exceeded.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that local Party committees, authorities, organizations, and units in the province continue to effectively implement social welfare and poverty reduction programs, and continue to allocate funds from the budget and mobilize social resources to support policy beneficiary families, meritorious individuals, poor households, and those with particularly difficult circumstances in the province to improve their lives. Regarding the armed forces, he requested that officers and soldiers effectively carry out their duties, maintain combat readiness, and ensure security and order, especially during the Lunar New Year of 2025.
The delegation presented gifts to poor households and families receiving preferential treatment in Moc Chau district.
On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented 300 million VND to policy beneficiary families and poor households in Son La province, funded by the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. The Central delegation, along with provincial leaders, presented gifts to the Moc Chau District Police and Chieng Son Border Guard Post; 40 gift packages to officers and soldiers of the Moc Chau District Police and Chieng Son Border Guard Post; and 150 gift packages to poor households, policy beneficiary families, and disadvantaged workers in Moc Chau district. They also visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Pham Thi Y, the wife of a fallen soldier, in sub-district 6, Moc Chau Town, Moc Chau District.

Previously, Hung Yen Province donated 1 billion VND to Son La Province to support poor households in the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
