As part of a series of activities to serve the people's enjoyment and shopping during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake (2025), on January 17th, the opening ceremony of the Spring Flower Fair of the Year of the Snake 2025 was held at Northwest Square, Son La City.

Taking place from January 17th to January 27th, this year's Spring Flower Fair features stalls from various units, cooperatives, artisans, and business households offering a wide variety of ornamental plants and flowers, such as peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, kumquats, and other flowers, as well as feng shui plants for home decoration, bringing good luck, wealth, and prosperity for the new year. This is an annual event organized by the city during the Lunar New Year, providing residents and tourists with a space to admire and purchase flowers and ornamental plants, fulfilling their spiritual needs and preserving the traditional cultural beauty of the nation during the Tet holiday. It is also an opportunity for artisans, flower growers, and other horticultural service providers to introduce new, high-quality products, and to exchange and learn techniques for growing and caring for flowers and ornamental plants, contributing to enhancing the value of their products.
