This year's exhibition displays over 1,000 documents and books, including books about the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the achievements of national and Son La province's reform; 3,000 related books and publications are also on display, introduced, and sold at discounted prices. These are high-quality publications, carefully selected to serve readers and the people in the area.

Ms. Pham Thi Hong Trinh - Director of Son La Provincial Library:With the goal of bringing books closer to readers, and through the activities of this exhibition and dissemination via mass media and digital platforms, this is one of the tasks that the Library has chosen in applying digital transformation in the coming time, especially in the series of activities celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year. After the conclusion of the book and newspaper exhibition celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year, Son La Provincial Library will continue to organize a Lunar New Year newspaper reading room for the Year of the Snake 2025 at the Provincial Library. In the space of the Lunar New Year newspaper reading room, we will provide digital transformation applications in the online Lunar New Year newspaper reading room on the Library's digital platform. This online Lunar New Year newspaper reading room will share with readers 174 types of Lunar New Year newspapers from central and 63 provincial newspapers nationwide.

Notably, the exhibition also features a Spring Newspaper Fair, showcasing over 400 publications of the 2025 Year of the Snake (2025) from central press agencies, Son La Newspaper, and newspapers from provinces and cities nationwide. This space brings together spring newspapers, New Year's Day newspapers, journals, magazines, books, photos, cultural programs, and television reports, presenting a comprehensive overview of Son La's press and broadcasting, as well as the national press, at the beginning of the new year.

Journalist Nguyen Thanh Hai - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Son La Newspaper, Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association:With the theme: "Aspiration for Spring, Faith in the Party," this year's publications focus on commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, celebrating the Party and the spring season, highlighting the outstanding achievements of localities and units in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Party Congresses at all levels, and this year's Spring Press Festival. The Son La Provincial Journalists Association is participating with over 100 books and newspapers; all of these publications, after being displayed at the exhibition, will be donated to border guard posts in Son La province.

The exhibition space also features over 150 paintings by young artists from the Dao Huyen Trang Young Artists Club in Son La city, with the theme "Colors of Spring - Welcoming 2025," and the Co Tien Bookstore with a diverse selection of books for readers of all ages.

Ms. Bui Thi Thuy Tien - Owner of Co Tien Bookstore, Chieng Le Ward, Son La City:At the book fair, I brought over 100 titles, mainly children's books, reference books, and literary works. I hope that through this exhibition, I will attract book lovers and readers interested in books.

With the message "Books: Spreading knowledge, shaping the future," the exhibition is a highlight in the series of activities commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Year of the Snake 2025 in Son La province. The exhibition showcases excellent books and newspapers with rich and high-quality content, making a strong impression on readers. At the same time, it helps to awaken a love for books, encourage the formation of reading habits, and contribute to the development of a reading culture.

Student Mai Lam Anh - Class 8A5, Nguyen Trai Secondary School, Son La City:My classmates and I from class 8A5 at Nguyen Trai Secondary School participated in a book and newspaper exhibition celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025. After attending, we found the books there very useful, and we realized that reading is very beneficial and important, not only for students but for everyone.
