This program introduces the cultural and tourism aspects of Thanh Hoa province.
Thanh Hoa is a land with rich and unique cultural tourism resources of national and international value, boasting 1,535 historical sites and scenic spots, including 1 World Cultural Heritage site and 5 sites classified as special national monuments. Alongside these are outstanding natural tourism resources, including 102 km of coastline and over 300 unique cultural festivals, as well as rich and attractive local cuisine. With these advantages, Thanh Hoa's tourism has consistently ranked among the top in the country in terms of attracting tourists in recent years. From the beginning of the year until now, the total number of visitors to Thanh Hoa has reached nearly 12 million, with tourism revenue exceeding 23,223 billion VND.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Standing Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that based on the existing potential and advantages in transportation infrastructure and the differences in tourism products between localities, Thanh Hoa province has always identified the Northwest provinces as a very potential and key tourism market. Therefore, every year, the Thanh Hoa tourism industry regularly participates in tourism promotion and advertising the image of Thanh Hoa's culture and people through participation in events and festivals organized in the Northwest provinces. This conference is an opportunity for investors and tourism businesses from Thanh Hoa province and the Northwest provinces to meet, connect, and cooperate in building complete, high-quality tours, routes, products, and services at reasonable prices. This will contribute to attracting tourists from the Northwest to Thanh Hoa and encouraging Thanh Hoa residents to travel to the Northwest.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, suggested that localities should clearly identify their unique tourism products to develop new, unique, and attractive tourism products; research mechanisms for close cooperation between Thanh Hoa and the Northwest region to create momentum for tourist exchange and lead the development of regional tourism. In addition, businesses and the media should work together in building and developing tourism products.

Within the framework of the conference, the Thanh Hoa Tourism Association and the Tourism Associations of Son La, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, and Yen Bai provinces signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in tourism development.
At the conference, the organizing committee set up an exhibition space to introduce tourist destinations, products, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from Thanh Hoa, Son La, and Dien Bien provinces to the delegates.
