According to the Organizing Committee, this year's Cultural Week will feature many exciting and attractive activities, including: Incense offering ceremony at Linh Son - Thuy Tu Temple and Nang Han Temple (Quynh Nhai District Spiritual Cultural Tourism Area), to thank the river god and mountain god, express gratitude to female general Nang Han and pray for a lucky new year, national peace and prosperity.

This year's Traditional Boat Racing Festival will attract racing teams from 11 communes in the district, districts inside and outside the province.

The highlight of the event is the Opening Ceremony of the Cultural Week taking place on the evening of February 7 with a special art program themed "Quynh Nhai - Lighting up the heritage land".

Along with that is a series of activities: Quynh Nhai District Traditional Boat Racing Festival 2025 with the participation of racing teams from 11 communes in the district, districts inside and outside the province that share the same boat racing culture such as: Muong Lay Town (Dien Bien), Nam Nhun District, Than Uyen (Lai Chau). Thereby, contributing to the preservation of traditional festivals of the nation, especially the boat racing festival of the people in the river region.

Cultural Week is a traditional activity organized by Quynh Nhai district every New Year's Eve.

Compete in sports tournaments (tug of war, stick pushing, stilts, Pickleball tournament, open badminton); "Red-whiskered bulbul singing competition"; experience throwing cones, bamboo pole dancing, and to mak le; experience visiting famous landscapes, spiritual cultural tourism, historical cultural tourism, eco-tourism of the Da River reservoir, Muong Chien community cultural tourism...

The Culture, Sports and Tourism Week is an annual event held by Quynh Nhai district to introduce and promote the potential and strengths of lake tourism and the unique culture of ethnic groups in the river region; honor traditional cultural values, and contribute to raising awareness of ethnic communities about the responsibility of preserving and promoting traditional culture.

Through that, it also contributes to promoting trade promotion activities, introducing and connecting the consumption of agricultural and aquatic products, local OCOP products, and promoting tourism development of the district.

It is known that in 2024, Quynh Nhai has made efforts to promote investment in developing tourism infrastructure, effectively exploiting the tourism potential of Son La hydroelectric reservoir area; effectively implementing activities to promote Quynh Nhai tourism brand to friends and domestic and foreign tourists.

Thanks to that, in the past year, the total number of tourists to Quynh Nhai is estimated to reach 250,000, up 25%; revenue is estimated to reach 100 billion VND, up 43% over the same period. The Son La hydroelectric reservoir tourist area (including Quynh Nhai) was approved by the Prime Minister to be included in the list of locations with potential to develop into a national tourist area.
