Cherry blossoms in Moc Chau usually start blooming from mid-December, when the weather starts to turn cold and winter begins. The flowers will bloom most from January to February, coinciding with the time before and after Tet. The blooming period lasts from 2 to 3 weeks, depending on weather conditions.
If the weather is favorable, cherry blossoms can maintain their beauty throughout the spring. However, to see the flowers at their most brilliant, you should plan to visit Moc Chau in mid or late January, when the flowers cover the roads and the plateau is full of spring vitality.
