During the Lunar New Year, tourist areas and spots in Son La province welcomed over 250,000 visitors to visit, experience and relax, an increase of 150% over the same period in 2024. Of which, there were nearly 850 international visitors, more than 249,000 domestic visitors; room occupancy rate at tourist accommodation establishments reached 74%.

Son La's tourism revenue during Tet reached 295 billion VND, an increase of 173% over the same period in 2024. Moc Chau town alone welcomed more than 105,000 tourists; revenue from tourism activities reached more than 136 billion VND.
