The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council approving the appointment of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Moc Chau District People's Council as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Moc Chau Town People's Council.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the Decision on the transfer of the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Moc Chau town.

The leaders of Moc Chau district presented the Decision on the establishment and appointment of the Party committees of the communes and wards in Moc Chau town.

At the Conference, Decision No. 1200-QD/TU dated January 21, 2025, of the Provincial Party Committee on the establishment of the Moc Chau Town Party Committee was announced, based on all 63 grassroots party branches and 7,830 party members of the Moc Chau District Party Committee; the positions of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Moc Chau Town Party Committee were transferred. The Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council approving the appointment of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Moc Chau District People's Council as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Moc Chau Town People's Council was announced. The Decision on the transfer of the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Moc Chau Town People's Committee was announced. The Decision on the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Moc Chau Town was announced; the positions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Moc Chau Town for the 2024-2029 term were transferred. The Decision on the establishment and appointment of the Party Committees of communes and wards in Moc Chau Town was announced.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh emphasized: The establishment of Moc Chau town and the Moc Chau Town Party Committee marks a major step forward in the stature and position of Moc Chau, a historical milestone; it is the result of continuous efforts and also demonstrates the determination of the Party Committee, government, soldiers of the armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Moc Chau town in the socio-economic development, building a strong political organization, and making an important contribution to the overall development of Son La province.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that in the coming period, to be worthy of its new position and stature, the Moc Chau Town Party Committee needs to focus on comprehensively and synchronously implementing the work of Party building and rectification; consolidating grassroots Party organizations, and building a cleaner and stronger political system for the Party Committee.
