Implementing the memorandum of understanding between the Military Command of Son La province and Xieng Khouang province, the two units have proactively monitored the situation and coordinated to effectively resolve arising issues, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order in each province. They regularly exchange information and coordinate in advising Party committees and authorities on resolving issues related to spontaneous migration; actively propagate and mobilize people to comply with border regulations, and uphold responsibility in building a stable and comprehensively developed Vietnam-Laos border.
In the coming period, the Military Command of Son La province and Xieng Khouang province will continue to widely disseminate information among officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people of the two provinces about the tradition of special solidarity, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, and between Son La and Xieng Khouang provinces; strengthen the exchange of experiences in socio-economic development; build armed forces between the two provinces, especially in training interpreters and providing military professional training; and maintain regular, rotating meetings at the Military Command level of the two provinces in 2024.
The delegation from the Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command visited the agricultural production model at Battalion 1, Regiment 754.
On the same day, the Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command visited and encouraged Lao military trainees studying Vietnamese at the 754th Regiment, Son La Provincial Military Command; and toured the barracks of Battalion 1, 754th Regiment.
