Mr. Do The Huong, Deputy Director of the Son La Provincial Department of Finance, said that the unit has identified many decisive solutions to be implemented right from the beginning of the year, in order to achieve the highest possible revenue target.

Son La province is determined to achieve a budget revenue of 4,500 billion VND this year.

The specific solution is to continue to fully, promptly, and effectively implement tax exemption, reduction, and extension policies in accordance with the Resolutions of the National Assembly and the Government to alleviate difficulties for businesses and people in restoring and developing production and business; and to effectively implement tax laws and the tasks of collecting state budget revenue in 2025.

In addition, it is necessary to strengthen revenue management, firmly grasp revenue sources, and proactively advise local Party committees and authorities on effectively implementing revenue management in the area; strengthen coordination among departments, agencies, districts, and cities in connecting, exploiting, and cross-referencing information to combat transfer pricing and tax evasion; promote digital transformation, electronization, and synchronous connection of tax sector information and data with the data systems of state management agencies to enhance the efficiency of revenue management, especially revenue from land, resources, and minerals...

Accelerating the progress of basic construction and disbursing public investment capital contributes to promoting the completion of budget revenue collection tasks.

In 2024, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, especially typhoons No. 2 and No. 3 which significantly affected the lives and production of the people, as well as the production, business activities, and product consumption of enterprises in the area, with the involvement of the entire political system from the province to the grassroots; the unity and solidarity of the people and the business community, the economy of Son La province basically achieved the set goals.

Of that amount, local budget revenue reached 4,135 billion VND, equivalent to 100.92% of the central government's projected target and 96.39% compared to the same period last year; revenue from taxes and fees alone reached over 3,500 billion VND, equivalent to 108.5% of the Ministry of Finance's projected target.
