(baosonla.vn) - Continuing the activities of the 2025 Quynh Nhai District Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, on February 8th, the Organizing Committee conducted the judging of the "Introducing the Cultural Space of Ethnic Groups in Quynh Nhai District" competition and the "Traditional Lunar New Year Feast" exhibition competition. Attending the event was Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Eleven teams from eleven communes and towns in the district participated in the competition. Each team presented a unique and distinctive cultural space showcasing the culture of various ethnic groups, reflecting the specific cultural characteristics of each commune, such as: the cultural space of the Mong, Dao, and Thai ethnic groups; and a comprehensive cultural space of all ethnic groups.

With creativity and ingenuity, each team created an impressive exhibition booth, scientifically designed and beautifully decorated, showcasing to visitors the beauty of the culture and daily life of the local people, such as: ethnic costumes, handicrafts, traditional cuisine, souvenirs, ethnic props, etc. In addition, they displayed and introduced typical agricultural products and local specialties. Furthermore, the teams also brought to the competition characteristic community cultural performances associated with the cultural space of their commune.

At the "Traditional Tet Feast" exhibition, teams prepared and presented a feast with self-selected dishes, using fresh, readily available ingredients with clear origins, prioritizing locally sourced ingredients, and ensuring food safety and hygiene, all under the theme of a traditional Tet feast.

The feast was beautifully and artistically presented, with delicious and creative flavors made from readily available local ingredients, especially the district's characteristic seafood products, showcasing the unique culinary essence of Quynh Nhai to friends and visitors from near and far attending the festival.
