After more than 3 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee has received 66 product dossiers from 42 units in 11 districts and cities. Of which: The group of products and handicrafts has 03 products; The group of agricultural, forestry, fishery and food processing products has 61 products; The group of other products has 02 products. The provincial voting council has selected 30 typical provincial products, 10 products were sent to participate in the voting for typical products of the Northern region in 2024. The products participating in the voting have shown the nature of rural industrial products in the province, many products have combined traditional handicrafts with advanced technology and equipment, exploited locally available raw materials, focused on packaging and labels, some products have shown local cultural identity.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the organization of the voting for typical rural industrial products aims to discover and honor products with high quality, high usage value, potential for production development, market expansion, meeting the tastes of domestic and foreign consumers to have a plan to support production development and trade promotion, contributing to the development of rural industry. At the same time, select typical rural industrial products of the province to participate in the voting at the regional and national levels.

He highly appreciated and acknowledged the results achieved in the organization of voting, commending organizations and individuals who, with their enthusiasm, have created prestigious products and brands that are trusted by consumers, making practical contributions to the effective implementation of the Party and State's policies on industrial development in rural areas. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, all levels and sectors continue to coordinate and organize well the supply-demand connections to strongly consume typical rural industrial products of the province. Districts and cities continue to promote the development of rural industrial establishments with local strengths. Rural industrial establishments that have won the Son La province's 2023 product vote in particular and industrial establishments in the province in general continue to maintain, promote and develop products in both quantity and quality; create more jobs, increase income for workers; bring benefits to businesses.
