The allure of the plum blossom season and the captivating experiences at Moc Chau National Tourist Area have attracted a record number of visitors from the beginning of February until now.

Moc Chau Plateau is also attractive as a world-class natural destination.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh, Director of Hoa Moc Chau Restaurant and Mocha Hill tourist area, shared: "The proactive approach in terms of facilities and personnel has helped the establishment meet the needs of tourists well during peak days. There are no additional fees or price increases for any services."

Businesses, accommodation establishments, and residents of Moc Chau are calling for collective support for tourists.

"Normally, during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), or weekends, Hoa Moc Chau restaurant can accommodate a maximum of about 1,000 guests. But this year, the two branches of the restaurant have served up to 1,500 guests on some days; the homestay has welcomed hundreds of guests every day. And it's not just on weekends that we're crowded; now we feel like every day is a weekend."

According to locals and many travel enthusiasts, this is the most beautiful plum blossom season in many years.

"With so many visitors, we had to source as much ingredients and food as possible from organic vegetable gardens and livestock farms. We also had to hire more than a dozen additional staff to serve the tourists," said Ms. Oanh.

Tourists flock to Moc Chau during the plum blossom season.

The young town of Moc Chau has nearly 300 accommodation establishments, accommodating more than 10,000 guests per day, but this number can reach up to 40,000 on weekends, so all accommodation establishments have to operate at full capacity.

The allure of the plum blossom season has drawn tourists from near and far to Moc Chau.

In response to this situation, not only accommodation establishments, but also many households, even those not involved in the service industry, have joined hands, contributed, connected, and provided accommodation for tourists.

Ms. Dong Thi Hoa, a resident of Moc Chau town, said: "My family gave up two bedrooms to a group of five adults and three children from Hanoi, allowing them to stay overnight for free. We are very happy to have helped tourists during a time when accommodations were overloaded. We will continue to provide rooms for tourists visiting Moc Chau in the future."

Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong, from Hanoi, shared: "Because we were careless, we didn't book accommodation in advance, so when we arrived, there were no rooms available. We were truly fortunate that the people of Moc Chau enthusiastically helped our family, allowing us to have a more complete and memorable experience in this place."

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Moc Chau town, in response to the sudden surge in the number of tourists visiting Moc Chau, the town has directed functional forces to strengthen security and order, traffic safety, and food safety; and requested accommodation establishments to increase staffing to serve tourists.
