The judging criteria for beautiful hawthorn orchards included the size of the orchard, the number of mature trees, and the abundance and beauty of the flowering trees. The organizing committee surveyed and selected 5 orchards that met the competition criteria. According to the assessment, most hawthorn orchards were carefully planted and cared for by the households; many had a large number of mature trees, abundant and evenly distributed flowers, and trees preparing to bear fruit.
