On March 21, Comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Restoration and Promotion of the Value of the Co Noi Intersection Historical Relic Site (Steering Committee 114), chaired a Steering Committee meeting to evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks in the first quarter and the direction of tasks in the second quarter of 2025.

Since the beginning of the year, Steering Committee 114 has focused on directing and guiding the removal of difficulties and obstacles, completing the compensation, resettlement support, land acquisition, and site clearance of the Project. Coordinated with the Central Youth Union's Construction Investment Project Management Board to complete relevant procedures according to regulations to start the Phase II project invested by the Central Youth Union; and implemented activities on the anniversary of the death of the youth volunteers who sacrificed at Co Noi Intersection.
At the same time, complete the plan to build content, design art and construct exhibitions at the National Historical Site of Co Noi Intersection in the period of 2024 - 2025, submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval and organize implementation. Continue to participate in giving opinions on the master plan and architectural plan of the Project to restore and promote the value of the Co Noi Intersection Historical Site invested by the Central Youth Union...

Regarding site clearance, support and resettlement: For the area invested by the Central Youth Union, up to now, 10/10 households have been paid, with a value of nearly 2.3 billion VND, an area of 2.22 hectares, and the site has been handed over to the Central Youth Union's Construction Investment Project Management Board. For the area invested by Mai Son district, the cadastral survey has been completed and land recovery notices have been issued; assets on land have been counted by 52/59 households, and land origin has been verified by 51/59 households. The resettlement site is located in sub-area 26/3, Co Noi commune. has completed investment in infrastructure and technical facilities and is ready to receive resettled households. Currently, there are 5 households that have not agreed to the compensation support plan.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Lo Minh Hung requested departments, branches, and members of the Steering Committee to focus on speeding up the progress of land acquisition, compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance for the Co Noi Intersection Historical Site Project, to ensure progress in implementing the construction of Phase II of the project. Continue to coordinate with the Central Youth Union and the Central Youth Union Project Management Board to implement investment in items of Phase II of the project invested by the Central Youth Union, ensuring compliance with the plan. Simultaneously, Continue to promote the dissemination of the significance and historical value of the National Historical Site of Co Noi Junction; on planning, site clearance, and investment in construction of items of the Phase II project. Ensure security and order when implementing compulsory inventory, compulsory land acquisition, and site clearance for project implementation.
