(sonla.gov.vn) From December 12th to December 15th, 2023, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with a delegation from Son La province, paid an official visit and worked in the northern provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the occasion of the Border Relations Conference. On the morning of December 12th, 2023, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the provincial delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kham Pheng - Xay Som Pheng, Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Governor of Hua Phan Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

During his meeting with Comrade Kham Pheng - Xay Som Pheng, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh extended his warmest greetings and best wishes to the leader of Hua Phan province, as well as to the provincial leaders and people of all ethnic groups in Hua Phan province on their visit and working trip to the province. He wished for the particularly strong and enduring friendship and cooperation between Son La and Hua Phan provinces in particular, and between Vietnam and Laos in general, to remain ever vibrant and sustainable for generations to come. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also conveyed the best wishes and greetings from the Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Huu Dong, to Comrade Kham Pheng - Xay Som Pheng and the provincial leaders and people of all ethnic groups in Hua Phan province on the occasion of this particularly important border liaison conference between the two provinces.

During the meeting, the two provincial leaders informed each other about the socio-economic development situation and the outstanding achievements in 2023 of each locality. They also exchanged and shared the advantages and difficulties in the process of building and developing their respective provinces. Both leaders affirmed the strong friendship between the two provinces, like brothers in a family, standing side by side, supporting each other, and cooperating for development.
