(baosonla.vn) - On April 3rd, the Son La Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center attended the opening ceremony of the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2025. Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, and leaders from more than 40 provinces and cities nationwide.

With the message "Convergence and Radiance," the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival took place from April 3rd to 6th at 23-9 Park (District 1), featuring over 100 booths from 41 provinces and cities and 32 travel agencies, transportation companies, and airlines.

During the event, there will be activities such as: a tourism promotion fair; the Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion program for 2025; a series of workshops, conferences, job fairs, and seminars on issues of social concern related to the tourism sector; the launch of the "Tourism Content Creation Day" program; and artistic performances… This is an opportunity for businesses to introduce their products, advantages, and unique tourism and service potentials...

Participating in the festival, Son La province had a booth displaying characteristic agricultural products, OCOP products of the province, and traditional handicrafts, reflecting the cultural identity of the ethnic groups in Son La province. This was to promote and introduce to visitors the potential and advantages of the agricultural hub of the North and the attractive tourism potential of the locality, home to Moc Chau National Tourist Area and the Son La hydroelectric reservoir, which is likened to the "Ha Long Bay" of the Northwest region.
