At the VITA Awards 2025 ceremony honoring outstanding businesses and individuals in Vietnam's tourism industry in 2024, held on April 10th in Hanoi, Son La province had 6 collectives and 3 individuals recognized in various categories.

The following organizations were honored in various categories: Hoa Moc Chau Restaurant of Hoa Moc Chau Cooperative – recognized as the restaurant serving the most tourists in the year; Dai Yem Waterfall Ecotourism Area of Pha Luong Tourism Joint Stock Company, Moc Chau – the tourist destination receiving the most visitors in the year; Uy Phong Bay of Quynh Nhai TRAVEL Tourism Joint Stock Company and Ta So village, Chieng Hac commune, Moc Chau town – exemplary community-based ecotourism destinations.

Moc Chau Island Tourist Area – Bach Long Glass Bridge has been certified as meeting the criteria of the VITA Green Tourism Criteria and has been awarded the "VITA Green" tourism destination label at the excellent level. Thao Nguyen Hotel & Resort has been certified as meeting the criteria of the VITA Green Tourism Criteria and has been awarded the "VITA Green" tourism accommodation label at the advanced level.

Three individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam Tourism Association for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the activities of local tourism associations and the tourism industry: Mr. Hoang Chi Thuc, Chairman of the Son La Provincial Tourism Association; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Son La Provincial Tourism Association; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Khue, Director of MoCha Communication and Tourism Company Limited, Son La province.
The VITA Awards 2025, honoring outstanding businesses and individuals in Vietnam's tourism industry in 2024, is an activity within the framework of the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2025, taking place in Hanoi from April 10-13 with the theme "Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnamese Tourism". This is an annual event of the Vietnam Tourism Association, aiming to honor outstanding businesses and individuals in the tourism industry who have achieved excellent results and made positive contributions in the fields of tourism accommodation, travel, and tourism services.
