On April 25th and 26th, Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Border Affairs Steering Committee, inspected the border line and national border markers; and the work of ensuring security and order along the border in Moc Chau town and the districts of Van Ho, Yen Chau, Song Ma, and Sop Cop.
Accompanying him were Colonel Chu Van Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command; and leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

At the inspection sites, local leaders and unit commanders reported on the security and order situation in the border area; and the planned locations for the establishment of new border guard posts. Accordingly, territorial sovereignty, border security, political security, and social order and safety in the area were maintained; the border system, border markers, and structures along the border were managed, protected, and preserved in their original state. Party committees and unit commanders regularly practiced on-site combat plans to protect their units and prepared combat readiness plans for border defense.

The working group conducted a survey in Yen Chau district.
Border guard posts have coordinated well with local authorities to strengthen the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to the people. They maintain strict duty rosters, strengthen border management and protection activities, and are ready to implement plans for disaster prevention, control, and search and rescue. They participate in building the grassroots political system and assisting the people in economic and social development. They regularly exchange information with the border management and protection forces of neighboring Laos, effectively managing and protecting the border line and markers.

After conducting on-site inspections and surveys, Comrade Trang Thi Xuan requested that border guard posts strengthen their understanding of the local situation and effectively manage and protect border security and sovereignty. She also urged close coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and agencies in the area to effectively carry out mass mobilization work, care for the material and spiritual well-being of the people, and assist them in economic, cultural, and social development. Furthermore, she requested that the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the district and town authorities strengthen coordination, thoroughly survey potential locations for new border guard posts, and prepare the necessary conditions and land to ensure appropriate scale and area according to the established schedule.
