Attending the launching ceremony were leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, provincial departments and agencies; the Labor Federations of 12 districts, cities, and towns; the Trade Union of the Provincial People's Committee and the Trade Union of the Provincial Party Agencies; representatives from companies and enterprises in Son La city with trade union organizations; and 180 delegates representing over 50,000 union members, workers, and civil servants throughout the province.

With the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneering the New Era," the Provincial Labor Union calls upon and urges all union members and workers to strictly comply with laws on occupational safety and health. All levels of trade unions, in coordination with the government, agencies, units, and businesses, should uphold a high sense of responsibility and respond enthusiastically and effectively. They should promote patriotic emulation movements, setting good examples in labor, production, work, and study, contributing together with the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province to successfully implement socio-economic development tasks.

In response to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health, trade unions at all levels organized many practical activities aimed at workers, such as: Visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, those who have suffered work accidents or occupational diseases; supporting the construction of "Trade Union Shelter Homes"; organizing "Creative Labor Festivals"; honoring and commending workers with achievements in labor and production, those with many initiatives and innovations, and those who have achieved high results in skilled worker competitions...

Delegates pressed the button to launch the online competition "Workers, employees, and laborers learn about occupational safety and health."

As part of the activities in response to Workers' Month and the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month, the Provincial Labor Union is organizing an online competition titled "Workers, Employees, and Laborers Learn About Occupational Safety and Health"; the competition will run from April 26th to May 16th, 2025. The competition aims to raise awareness, understanding, and skills in complying with regulations and work procedures to ensure occupational safety and health; and to implement solutions to prevent and minimize the risk of occupational accidents and diseases for union members and workers. It also aims to commend and replicate effective models and practices in occupational safety, health, and environmental protection.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Union awarded "Union-sponsored housing" support to 14 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, totaling 680 million VND; the funding was drawn from the "Son La Provincial Labor Union's Fund for Supporting Union Members and Workers".
