The town currently has 7 national intangible cultural heritages, including 4 cultural heritages of the ethnic groups living in Moc Chau, including: Het Cha Festival of the White Thai, the art of the Khen of the Mong people, the art of creating patterns on the costumes of the Hoa Mong people, and the Rain Praying Festival of the White Thai people.

At the beginning of the year, Quynh Nhai has become a spring destination for visitors from near and far, coming to visit and pray for peace at the spiritual cultural tourism area with Nang Han temple, Linh Son Thuy Tu temple; immersing in the vibrant atmosphere of the traditional boat racing festival; participating in the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, experiencing the unique cultural space of the people in the river region.
Traditional culture is exploited and promoted to become an attractive factor, giving life to Quynh Nhai tourism. The unique features of Son La ethnic culture are widely promoted, exploited for their value, creating highlights for famous tourist areas and spots, souvenir products made of handicrafts, ethnic brocades... Traditional festivals, folk songs, folk dances, folk music, ethnic costumes are included in cultural and tourism events, creating attraction for Son La tourism in recent years. In the first quarter of 2025, the whole province welcomed 1.76 million tourists, with revenue of 1,985 billion VND.

With 17 national micro-Buddhist cultural heritages, 96 historical-cultural relics, and scenic spots, containing both spatial and temporal values of long-standing culture and history in Son La land. These heritages are being preserved, maintained, and promoted in their own way, turning heritage into valuable assets of practical value, contributing to socio-economic development.
