Welcoming the delegation, Son La province was represented by Comrade Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.

In an atmosphere of profound solidarity and friendship, on behalf of the leaders of Son La province, Comrade Lo Minh Hung warmly welcomed the delegation from Luang Prabang province, congratulating them on the successful conclusion of the 15th Border Working Meeting between the two provinces, held on the morning of May 9th. He informed the delegation about several key tasks regarding border work in the coming period; the reorganization of administrative units and apparatuses; preparations for the Party congresses at all levels; digital transformation; and the implementation of socio-economic development goals in the province. Son La province committed to implementing the cooperation contents as agreed upon in the memorandum, strengthening activities to maintain border security stability, and contributing to promoting the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and between Son La and Luang Prabang provinces.

On behalf of the delegation, Comrade Bun Luom-Ma Ni Vong expressed gratitude for the thoughtful and respectful reception given by the leaders of Son La province during this working visit. Following the 15th Border Working Meeting, the two provinces will continue to coordinate and effectively implement the agreed-upon contents. They will actively and proactively coordinate and exchange information to stabilize the security and order situation in the border area; and build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing Vietnam-Laos border. He hoped to welcome delegations from Son La province to visit and work in Luang Prabang province in the future, and hoped that Son La province would continue to pay attention to cooperation in all fields, contributing to deepening the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos, and promoting the close friendship and solidarity.
