Bo Am hot spring (or Mo Am) is located in Phu Mau village, Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district, Son La province, about 150km from Hanoi. This is a natural hot spring flowing from the cave, with a temperature of about 35-40 degrees Celsius, exploited for tourism by local cooperatives.

For only 30,000 VND, visitors can enjoy unlimited hot baths throughout the day. The wild and idyllic natural scenery and pure mineral springs make this place a favorite tourist destination for local people, but it is not yet known to visitors from afar.
The mineral spring flows directly from the slot and is divided into three levels. The top level has the highest temperature, at a warm level. The temperature gradually decreases in the following levels. The bottom level is cool, not too cold, so it is suitable for bathing and swimming.

Bo Am hot spring has a beautiful landscape, with cliffs and lush bamboo forests on one side and poetic rice fields on the other. In addition to the mineral bath experience, visitors can also freely take virtual photos with a "fairyland" background.

The mineral spring is clear to the bottom, the temperature is warm and pleasant. Relaxing in the water and watching the wild scenery will dispel fatigue and help the body become healthier.

In addition to bathing in hot springs, visitors can take pictures and admire the green rice fields right next to them.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu (born in 1990, in Bac Giang province) said, my family of 5 people from Bac Giang went to Moc Chau for a trip this time. During the trip, the family chose to visit Bo Am hot spring to visit and soak in the stream. In the afternoon, the family will continue the journey to Moc Chau for sightseeing and relaxation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nam (born in 1980, in Hanoi) said that he took his parents and family to Bo Am hot spring for a vacation. “Bo Am spring is a wonderful resort. The natural scenery, fresh climate, and fresh hot spring source also have many health benefits. The price is only 30,000 VND per person. Eating and drinking are also very convenient, suitable for medical tourism here,” said Mr. Nam.
Mr. Ha Van Khuong, a member of the Tat Nang Tourism and Agriculture Cooperative, which is exploiting and operating Bo Am stream, said that the members of the cooperative are assigned to be on duty, sell tickets and solve problems for tourists. Bo Am stream has been exploited since 2019 but was interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and will not reopen until 2022. Some geological teams from the Central came to survey, measure, check the quality and concluded that the pH in the water is moderate, not much sulfur. In winter, the colder the weather, the warmer the water source, so tourists come to soak and relax.

On May 7, the leader of the People's Committee of Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district, Son La province said that Bo Am stream is being exploited and operated by Tat Nang Agricultural and Tourism Cooperative. However, it has not yet brought high efficiency because the scale is still small and there is no basic investment. "Currently, Van Ho district People's Committee is calling on businesses to survey and invest in Bo Am stream to become a systematic resort," said the commune leader.

In addition to mineral bath services, visitors can order local meals with many specialties such as sticky rice, grilled chicken, and delicious wild vegetables. A few hundred meters away is a homestay of local people. However, the facilities at Bo Am stream are still quite primitive, with not many services.
