On May 16th, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Vietnam, Sergio Narea Guzman, paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Son La province.

Leaders of the Son La Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to welcome the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Vietnam.
Receiving the Ambassador and the delegation, Son La province was represented by Ms. Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to Son La province.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Ms. Trang Thi Xuan warmly welcomed the Ambassador and the delegation to Son La. She also provided an overview of some of the province's outstanding achievements in politics, socio-economics, national defense, and security; and highlighted Son La's potential advantages, especially in agricultural economic development, particularly tea, coffee, and fruit products. She expressed her hope that the Ambassador would gain a better understanding of Son La's strengths and develop sustainable cooperation and investment programs between the two sides in the future.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Sergio Narea Guzman thanked the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of the departments and agencies of Son La province for the thoughtful and respectful reception, and expressed his desire to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the province in the fields of agriculture, agricultural product exports, fruits, etc., contributing to making the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Chile increasingly deeper and more effective.
During their visit to Son La province, the Ambassador and his delegation will visit and learn about some typical agricultural models and coffee processing factories in Mai Son district.
