Leaders of Son La Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to welcome the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Vietnam.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Ms. Trang Thi Xuan warmly welcomed the Ambassador and the delegation to visit and work in Son La. At the same time, she gave an overview of some outstanding achievements in politics, socio-economics, national defense and security of the province; the potential advantages of Son La, especially the potential for agricultural economic development, notably tea, coffee and fruit products. She hoped that the Ambassador would better understand the strengths of Son La province and build cooperation and investment programs for sustainable development between the two sides in the coming time.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Sergio Narea Guzman thanked the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches of Son La province for their thoughtful and respectful reception and wished to promote cooperation with the province in the fields of agriculture, export of agricultural products, fruits, etc., contributing to bringing the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Chile into deeper and more effective.

During his visit and working in Son La province, the Ambassador and his delegation will visit and learn about some typical agricultural models and coffee processing factories in Mai Son district.
