In an atmosphere of warm solidarity and special friendship, the People's Procuratorates of the two provinces exchanged information on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security of the provinces, and the activities of the provincial People's Procuratorates. At the same time, they proposed further strengthening the traditional cooperative relationship, deepening its scope and continuously developing it. They also agreed to effectively implement the cooperation agreement and enhance the sharing of experiences in combating cross-border crime.

The People's Procuratorates of the two provinces agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
During the talks, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding, agreeing to strengthen coordination in effectively implementing the cooperation documents signed between the Chief Prosecutors of the Supreme People's Procuratorates of Vietnam and Laos; exchanging experiences and information on crime prevention and drug control across the border. They also agreed to enhance information exchange on issues occurring in the border areas of the two countries to promptly coordinate and resolve difficulties and obstacles, thereby improving the effectiveness of combating transnational crime.
Effectively implement the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Civil and Criminal Matters between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Lao People's Democratic Republic; facilitate and coordinate effectively when each side requests mutual legal assistance. Continue to strictly adhere to the foreign policy guidelines of the two Parties and States. Strengthen advisory work for local Party committees and authorities in effectively resolving border security issues. Maintain rotating visits, working sessions, and exchanges of experience whenever conditions permit. Both sides agreed that the People's Procuracy of Luang Prabang Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, will host the talks in 2027.
