In the 2023-2024 school year, Son La College will receive Vietnamese language training for 264 international students and students from 9 provinces of Northern Laos, including 139 international students studying Vietnamese language for 1 year and 125 students studying Vietnamese for 9 months. Receiving Lao students to study is a great honor for the school. This is a joy and honor but also a responsibility for the school. Training Lao students is aimed at implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party, State and province on strengthening the relationship of friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with the Lao People's Democratic Republic. This is also a policy that both promotes close cooperation and contributes to supporting other provinces in building and developing a team of cadres, meeting the needs of human resources in the new situation.
All Laotian students studying at Son La College are arranged to eat, stay, live and study at the school. The school has a team of teachers who are capable, experienced and dedicated to teaching and training. The facilities and teaching equipment are synchronous and modern so that international students can eat, stay and live, ensuring and promoting their learning abilities. The educational environment is safe, healthy, friendly and inspires creativity for students. Studying at the school, international students and trainees can also participate in cultural and sports activities; visit and research historical sites, scenic spots in Son La province and some places in Vietnam to enhance their understanding of Vietnamese culture and people, and increase their ability to practice Vietnamese.
