Receiving the delegation, Son La province had comrade Trang Thi Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.
On behalf of the leaders of Son La province, Comrade Trang Thi Xuan warmly welcomed the Prime Minister's Advisor and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti to visit and work in Son La. At the same time, she gave an overview of some outstanding achievements in politics, socio-economics, national defense and security of the province; the potential advantages of Son La, especially in developing coffee and dairy cows; high-tech agriculture; technology for processing tea, coffee and fruit trees. At the same time, she hoped that the delegation of the Republic of Haiti would study and develop cooperation and investment programs for sustainable development between units and localities of the two countries in the coming time.

The Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Haiti thanked Son La province for the thoughtful and respectful reception and expressed his impression of Son La's achievements in the agricultural sector, especially the specialty coffee production model. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, there would be increased exchanges and cooperation between businesses of the two sides, especially in the fields of agriculture, processing and trade of agricultural products.
During the visit and working period in Son La province, the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Haiti will visit and conduct field surveys at the coffee growing area and the coffee processing factory of Bich Thao Son La Coffee Cooperative in Son La city.
