Mr. Tran Xuan Viet, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DOCST), said: Implementing the tourism development stimulus program in 2025, the Department has developed a plan to organize key events and highlight activities to attract tourists. Notable ones are: Yen Chau Mango Festival; Moc Chau Dairy Cow Beauty Contest; Moc Chau Fruit Picking Festival; Song Ma Longan Festival; Bac Yen District Independence Day; 130th Anniversary of Son La Province; Ceremony to announce Quynh Nhai as a Provincial Tourist Area. In addition, the Department has also carefully prepared conditions to participate in tourism promotion events in Da Nang City, Ho Chi Minh City and the tourism development linkage program between 8 expanded Northwestern provinces; in-depth tourism surveys in Bac Yen and Muong La districts.
To stimulate tourism, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has increased promotion in conjunction with a communication campaign with the message "Son La Tourism - Go to experience - Come to love"; launched a contest to create beautiful photos, video clips, tourism slogans, design tours and travel explanations, and vote for tourism brands. At the same time, build vivid, attractive communication products that spread on digital platforms, social networks, the website of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and national television channels.

In early May, Moc Chau town organized a contest to find KOL (famous, influential people) for Moc Chau tourism in 2025, with the participation of more than 50 KOL groups nationwide. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Vice Chairman of Moc Chau Town People's Committee, shared: Tourism development must rely on many factors, of which promotion and communication are extremely important factors. The district organized the Moc Chau KOL Face Search Contest in 2025, with the goal of finding typical KOL faces, with attractive stories and good clips about Moc Chau. Thereby, spreading the image of Moc Chau tourism to friends, domestic and international tourists.

Along with the media, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has promoted and mobilized tourism businesses in the province to research and develop attractive incentive packages for sightseeing, accommodation, cuisine, transportation and service experiences suitable for each customer group. Organize "Tourism Promotion Weeks" at destinations to stimulate consumption and attract tourists. Encourage tourism businesses to participate in domestic and international tourism fairs, widely promote unique local tourism products and services to potential markets and international partners.

With preferential prices, helping tourists save costs and fully explore Moc Chau.
