This morning, March 15th, the 3rd Hawthorn Flower Festival 2025 was inaugurated in Nam Nghep village, Ngoc Chien commune, Muong La district, with the participation of a large number of local people and tourists from all over.
The Ngoc Chien Hawthorn Flower Festival 2025 will take place from March 15-16. At the festival, locals and tourists can experience and explore many attractive activities, such as: admiring hawthorn flowers and enjoying art programs; displaying and introducing typical agricultural, cultural, and OCOP products of Ngoc Chien commune and neighboring districts, as well as businesses and cooperatives located in the area. In addition, the festival will feature new and exciting activities such as: the most beautiful hawthorn flower garden competition, sticky rice cake pounding competition, pa pao spinning competition, goat fighting competition, traditional costume and beauty contest showcasing the women of Ngoc Chien, a culinary competition; folk games and traditional sports; bamboo pole dancing, xoe dance, and solidarity dances; and activities to experience hawthorn flower viewing.
The Hawthorn Flower Festival is held during the peak blooming season to promote and celebrate the pure beauty of the hawthorn flower, while also promoting and introducing the image of Ngoc Chien - Muong La to friends and acquaintances both domestically and internationally; a unique, distinctive, youthful, and dynamic Ngoc Chien - Muong La with abundant unique tourism resources waiting for visitors from all regions to experience and explore.
