To preserve, conserve and promote the unique cultural features of the Thai people.On March 13-14, the Thai-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Group and the Thai Son La Cultural Lovers Group jointly organized the Thai Cultural Exchange Program to celebrate the 2025 Son La City Ban Flower Festival at the Northwest Square of Son La City. Attending the program were comrade Ha Trung Chien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council. The program had the participation of nearly 400 artisans, mass actors, Thai cultural clubs in the province and from the provinces: Lai Chau, Yen Bai, Lai Cao; Thai people group in Hanoi city.
The program featured nearly 60 unique singing, dancing and music performances by artists and actors from Thai ethnic cultural clubs. The performances were invested in and elaborately staged, with props closely related to the daily lives of the Thai people, creating a colorful art program. The sweet, soulful melodies of Thai folk songs combined with the lively sounds of the panpipes reminded people of the stories and customs of the Thai people, expressing their love for their homeland and country, celebrating the increasingly prosperous and developed villages.
GRANDMAQUANG THI VAN, Tan An Ward, Nghia Lo Town, Yen Bai:“Participating in today’s cultural exchange program, I found the performances of the groups and clubs of the other teams very interesting. Through this, my team also learned many new things. In addition to dancing and singing, the Organizing Committee also had very meaningful activities such as Thai Cultural Presentation. This is a very meaningful activity to teach young people about preserving the unique culture of their nation.”
In addition, representatives of Thai ethnic groups and clubs from various localities gave presentations in Thai to introduce the unique Thai cultural features of each region; participated in flower picking and solving riddles in Thai; played folk games such as: To mak le, blindfolded drumming, etc.; and danced the “Unity Dance” to the joy of many Thai ethnic people.

Through this program, Thai people in provinces and cities across the country also hope that the program will be held regularly, creating opportunities for the younger generation to learn about culture, nurture national love, and preserve and conserve the unique cultural features of their people.

The Thai Cultural Exchange Day program aims to honor, preserve and promote the fine traditions as well as the quintessence of Thai ethnic culture. It is an opportunity for Thai ethnic groups across the country to meet, exchange and learn from each other, contributing to preserving the cultural identity of the Thai ethnic group and enhancing the spirit of solidarity and cohesion in the Thai ethnic community across the country./.
