In addition, Son La's agricultural sector aims to develop strawberry growing areas associated with production and consumption linkages, so it proactively creates conditions for poor and near-poor households to have the opportunity to access capital to develop their businesses, actively guides households to take care of plants according to VietGAP and organic processes, strictly implement food safety regulations, use pesticides according to the "4 rights" principle... to produce delicious, clean, safe strawberry products, creating trust with consumers.

Being a temperate plant, strawberries are very suitable for the climate and soil of Co Noi. The plants bear fruit during the winter and early spring, from December to March. With strawberries, Co Noi has done a good job of exploiting the available potential of the locality to create a lever to escape poverty. In addition, the commune also actively researches, learns to improve scientific and technical knowledge, promptly absorbs market changes to apply to actual production such as taking advantage of online sales channels to create output for products.
Co Noi Commune Farmers' Association has over 30 branches and more than 1,500 members. In recent years, the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" has been widely and effectively implemented by Co Noi Commune Farmers' Association, attracting a large number of farmer members to participate, contributing significantly to the local economic and social development. In addition to strawberry farms, the commune also has many sustainable livelihood models to help people effectively reduce poverty such as raising cows in barns, raising goats combined with grass growing, custard apple growing model...
